Careers at Mari Groma
We welcome thoughtful, enthusiastic and creative people who care about seasonal food, small-batch baking, good coffee and generous hospitality.
About the work
Mari Groma is an independent restaurant and bakery open five days a week for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. Our cooking is international in outlook, with a strong northern European influence.
The kitchen works with local, seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients. Bread, pastries and dishes are prepared in-house, while service remains relaxed, attentive and informed.
We value curiosity, consistency and respect for both ingredients and colleagues. Experience is useful, but a willingness to learn and contribute thoughtfully matters too.
Working together
Roles differ across the kitchen, bakery, coffee bar and dining room, but the principles behind the work are shared.
Menus move with produce and availability, so flexibility and close attention to ingredients are part of the daily rhythm.
From dough and prep to coffee and service, the work rewards care, repetition and an interest in doing simple things well.
Clear communication, tidy working habits and consideration for colleagues help every part of service run smoothly.
We aim for service that is knowledgeable and attentive without feeling formal, whether behind the counter or at the table.
